He was born on 6 July 1964 (age 57 years according to 2021) in Tenali, Distt. Guntur (Andhra Pradesh), India. His father’s name is Late Shri G.Venkateswara Rao and his mother’s name is Shrimati G. Chowdeswari. His educational qualification is B.Sc.(Agriculture), Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) educated at Agricultural College, Baptala, Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University and Institute of Rural Management, Anand (Gujarat). His religion belongs to Hinduism and Nationality, Indian. He is married to Shrimati Mydhili Rao and has two sons.
Guntupalli Venkata Lakshmi Narasimha Rao started his political career as a candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He was first appointed as the Media Adviser to the Chief Minister (in the rank of State Minister), Madhya Pradesh for 2009-18.
