Faggan Singh Kulaste is an Indian politician. He was born on May 18, 1959 (age 62 years), in Mandla, India. He is a member of the Lok Sabha since 2014. He did his study at Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya (1992), MORE. His father’s name is Shri Shobhan Singh Kulaste and his mother’s name is Smt. Hero Bai. He married Smt. Savitri Kulaste.
Faggan Singh Kulaste was elected as president of Akhil Bharatiya Adivasi Vikash Parishad, Madhya Pradesh in 1980. He became a member of the State Working Committee, Madhya Pradesh in 1990. Faggan Singh Kulaste was elected as the Member of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly. Later he became a Member of the Planning Board, Government of Madhya Pradesh, and Parliamentary Secretary of the Department of Public Health and Family Welfare, Government of Madhya Pradesh in 1990. He was appointed as General Secretary (In-charge) of BJP (ST Cell) in 1993. He was elected as the Member of Panchayat Board, Distt. Mandla, Madhya Pradesh in 1993. He was elected to Eleventh Lok Sabha by defeating Mohanlal of Congress from the Mandla constituency. Later he became a Member of, Committee on the Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Member, Committee on External Affairs in 1996. He was elected as Patron of Akhil Bharatiya Gond Sangh in 1998. He was elected to Twelfth Lok Sabha (second term) from the same constituency. This time he defeated Chhote Lal Like in 1998. He became the Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs in 1999. He became the Union Minister of State of Parliamentary Affairs just for two months in 1999. He again won Loksabha Election from Mandla constituency by defeating Devendra Tekam f Congress in 1999.
He was appointed as National President of BJP Scheduled Tribe Morcha in 2004. He was the Member of the Fourteenth Lok Sabha (fourth term) in 2004. He became General Secretary of BJP, Madhya Pradesh. Later he was again elected to the same post in 2010. He became the Member of the Committee on Social Justice and Empowerment and the Member the Committee on the Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in May 2012. He was appointed as a Member of, General Purposes Committee in 2015. He became - Member of, Standing Committee on Human Resource Development; Member of, Standing Committee on Social Justice and Empowerment in 2017. He contested and won the Mandla Lok Sabha's seat and defeated Congress Kamal Singh Marawi by a margin of over 8000 votes in 2019.
