Dipsinh Shankarsinh Rathod is an Indian politician. He was born on June 1, 1952 (age 69 years), in Sabarkatha, Gujarat India. He is a member of the Lok Sabha since 2014. His father’s name is Shri Shankarsinh Raghusinh and his mother’s name is Smt. Motaba Raghusinh. He married Smt. Shantiba Rathod.
He is a member of the Standing Committee on Commerce Member, Consultative Committee, Ministry of Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, and Drinking Water and Sanitation. Dipsinh Shankarsinh Rathod contested assembly election and won on BJP ticket from Prantij seat. He defeated Govindbhai Prabhudas Patel of the Congress party in 1998. He became Chairman, Committee on OBC, Gujarat Legislative Assembly (till 2002). He was re-elected to Gujarat Assembly from Pranjit. This time he defeated INC candidate Zala Vinendrasinh Dilipsinh in 2002. He did not contest assembly elections. BJP gave the ticket to Jaysinhji Mansinhji Chauhan from Pranjit in 2007. He became - Member of, Standing Committee on Commerce, a Member of, Consultative Committee, Ministry of Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, and Drinking Water and Sanitation in 2014. He was elected to Loksabha from the Sabarkantha constituency of Gujarat in 2014.
