Devoleena Bhattacharjee was born on 22nd of August in the year 1990 in Sivasagar which is in the state of Assam. She lost her father in 1997 who was a Bengali.Her mother belongs to Assamese family.
She also has one younger brother, she has completed her schooling from GMBE School in Sivasagar only. Devoleena is a commerce graduate with honours in accountancy and also a trained Bharatanatyam Dancer and a model in her real life. She learned her dancing skills from Kalakshetra, Chennai.
Devoleena has also done the jewellery designing and development course from NIFT, New Delhi and has worked for GILI, MIDC Mumbai, in Maharashtra before coming to the Indian Television Industry.
