Daniel Fernandes took birth on 2nd August 1984 in Mumbai, Maharashtra and was raised in Goa. Daniel did his schooling from Holy Family High School (Porvorim) and St. Xaviers (Mapusa). He completed his MBA in marketing degree from Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communication located in Pune. After completing his MBA, Daniel started working in a film production house named Ravi Deshpande Pictures. But he always wanted to do something of his own and want that type of job that didn't start before lunch and is creative. So he quit his full-time job and entered into comedy.
He is popularly known for his dark & surreal style (absurdist humour) comedy and comedy on social issues in India. Fernandes has performed at comedy clubs including Blue Frog, The Comedy Store, Canvas Laugh Club and High Spirits. He usually makes comedy on Indian social issues like free speech, the death penalty, student suicide and marital rape.
Daniel was also the part of the promotion of Nawazuddin Siddiqui film Manjhi: The Mountain Man. He also hosted Forbes India's entrepreneurial award event in March 2015.
