Ehsaan Noorani is a popular and well known Guitarist and Music Composer who is part of the legendary trio- Shankar Mahadevan, Loy Mendonsa, and himself. The trio has given some amazing compositions to the movies which audiences still hum. He was born on 12th October 1963 in Mumbai, India.
He has studied music at the Musicians Institute and learned guitar from the guitarist expert Mr. Bismarck Rodrigues. Recently, Ehsaan and Loy made their Electronica band called Instant Karma.
He made his debut with his partners Shankar and Loy with the movies Dus which was released in 1997. The songs of the movie were chartbuster hits at that time. Later they composed songs of the movies Shool and Rockford which were also released in 1997. In 1999, they composed for the movie Dillagi starring Sunny Deol. The trio has composed songs for movies- Mission Kashmir, Dil Chata Hai, Abhay, Ye Kya Ho Raha Hai?, Ek Aur Ek Gyarah, Kuch Naa Kaho, Kal Ho Na Ho, Chandni Chowk to China, Rock On, Taare Zameen Par, Heyy Babyy, Don, Wake up Sid, My Name is Khan, Housefull, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Don 2, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, 2 States, Dil Dhadakne Do, Rock On 2, Raazi, Saaho, The Zoya Factor, and Panga.
