In 1993, he was made Chairman of Janapad Panchayat, Manawar. He is one of the representatives of B.J.P. Madhya Pradesh since 1991 and Vice-President of B.J.P. Mandal, Manawar since 1992. After that, he was re-elected to 14th Lok Sabha, 17th Lok Sabha, and made a member of the Standing Committee on Social Justice and Empowerment, Rules Committee, Consultative Committee, Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
