Chandeshwar Prasad is a famous Indian politician of the Janata Dal (United), social worker, and Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) from Jahanabad (Bihar) Constituency. He was born on 13 July 1951 (age 70 years according to 2021) in Nadwan, Patna, Bihar, India. His father’s name is Late Shri Ramchandra Prasad and his mother’s name is Late Smt. Ramdei Devi. His educational qualification is Matric from Bihar School Examination Board. His religion belongs to Hinduism and Nationality, Indian. He married Smt. Lalti Devi on 30 Jun 1970 and has four children three sons and one daughter.
Chandeshwar Prasad Chandravanshi started his career as a candidate of Samta Party in 1995 and then became Vice-Chairman of Bihar State Bal Shramik Aayog (Minister of State Rank) for 2007 – 2010. In 2009, he was appointed as a Syndicate Member of Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, Bihar for 2009 – 2015. After that, he was appointed to the Chairman of Bihar State Bal Shramik Aayog (Minister of State Rank) for 2014-16 and Member of Bihar Legislative Council for 2016-18. In 2019, he was elected to the 17th Lok Sabha (lower house of the Parliament of India) from Jahanabad (Bihar) Constituency and became a member of the Standing Committee on Human Resource Development for 2019-20. Currently, he is serving as a member of the Committee on Subordinate Legislation, Consultative Committee, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, and Standing Committee on Education, Women, Children, Youth, and Sport. He is part of Social and Cultural Activities as he has been contributing to the upliftment of marginalized sections and the downtrodden for the last 50 years. He has been National President of All India Chandravansi Kshatriya Mahasabha for 1998-2007
