Dear sir,
this is with regards to unethical practice and unprofessional behavior of the sales persons at the above mentioned BMW Dealer. I intended to buy a 320d from them for which i was offered a 3,50,000 rs discount upfront(plus usual standing discount of 50,000 Corporate and 75,000 exchange bonus). On my persistence i was offered 50,000 Rs discount at the showroom on the same day.
Wanting something extra i left that day, asking to be contacted if there was scope of any further discount to seal the deal. Next day i get a call from Mr Shaji that 50000 Rs discount is being offered extra,( by simple addition totalling 4,50,000 ) to which i agreed to buy the car.
At no point in time i was made aware that other standing offers/discounts are being INCLUDED or CLUBBED or REMOVED from this discount.
But at time of purchase (hand over of cheques) i was given a proforma invoice that said that the TOTAL DISCOUNT was 4,50,000 , meaning thereby that the 50,000 corporate discount either stood included in the discount (or withdrawn) without me being clearly told about this change in conditions.
Highly anguished, i did take the car that day. Since then, I have strongly verbally protested this multiple times with them,( making this BMW buying experience very distasteful and shameful), but to no avail.
In the last conversation, in fact, i was plainly told told that i was “free” to take this matter ‘higher up’ !
I need to know whether as Indian Customers we should expect typical Indian attitudes and behaviour at BMW showrooms also ( a la Skoda/ TATA/Maruti) and should we expect typical Salesman tricks and misguidance/obfuscation at BMW India also ? Or is the SHEER PLEASURE limited only to the driving !

I have couple of queries on the tyre
1. What is the notmal life of the RFT tyres fitted on the car …. My usage is mostly in city
2. The 2016 3 series have come with tubeless tyres … Can i switch to tubless on my car … Will it effect my bmw secure insurance conditions.
I am not getting a conclusive answer locally

We have been looking for this Car for about 3 months and booked this Car by well planning before a month time by scheduling the delivery date of 20th Jan’2016
as per the astrologer suggestions.
We have paid our initial Payment of Rs.85,00,000/- well in advance as per your requirements and also completed the financial procedures.
You have also committed to do the temporary registration at Chennai on 19th Jan’2016 and deliver it in Coimbatore on 20th Jan’2016. We were be following with you over phone
for past 15 days regarding the delivery of our Car.
But now, you are telling the approval has not been arrived and you can’t deliver the car as per your promise.
We inform you since, we have planned well in advance to take the delivery of this car by 20th Jan2016. and if you are not able to deliver the car as per your commitment It is completely your fault to fulfill the delivery commitments that too for a M4 Customer like us.
We regret to inform that to re pay our payments made as advance towards the above car, if you are not able to deliver the car by 20th Jan’2016 by doing temporary registration.
