YES Bank Account e-Statement – How to open email PDF File with password

People who are having their accounts in YES Bank (either savings or current) receive monthly e-statement in their email ID. The PDF file attached with the email requires password to view it or open it. Although, it is easy to access that and in fact bank also writes guidelines for help. But still few customers often get confused what they have to do next to check that statement.

In this article we are sharing how you can easily open the full statement file which customers receive through email. All you have to do is follow below mentioned steps.

1. Check your email and find the attachment of e-statement PDF file.
2. While opening, it will ask you, Please enter this document’s password to view it.
3. Now the question is what is that password ?

The password is your Customer ID + your Date of Birth (which you have submitted at the time of account opening) in numerical format.

For example,

Let’s say your Customer ID is 1234567 and your Date of birth is 1 February, 1990. The numerical format of your date of birth will be 01-02-1990.

So your password will be 123456701021990.

Savings account holders have this straight way. Joint account holders should use their Primary Customer ID and Date of birth.

Current account holders or for Non-Individual CASA customers who are using YES Bank accounts for Sole Proprietor / Partnership / Companies / HUF / Trust / Associations / Society / Clubs etc. can also follow the same procedure.

Either those accounts have set date of births or they have default DOB set as 01-Jan-1800. Hence, their password will be 123456701011800.
