Booking a ticket from BookMyShow needs an account. That account consists of all your information so that the company can serve you in a better way. But those details should be updated especially the mobile number and email id. If you are willing to change or update your email Id and phone number/contact number of BookMyShow account. Through Website
1. Go to the official website of BookMyShow and login to your account.
2. Check the profile icon at the top right area of the screen, click on that and go to Settings tab.
3. Here you will be able to check your existing phone number and email id. You can make changes by replacing them.
4. After filling up the new email ID and phone number, click on Update button.
That’s it, you have successfully changed the information in your BookMyShow.com profile in the desktop version.
Through Mobile App
You can also change profile details through mobile apps. Bookmyshow apps are serving in iOS as well as Android mobile phones too. With the help of image below and written guidelines, you can do it easily.
- Open BookMyShow mobile app and click on My Profile icon at the bottom of the screen.
- In the second step, you will be at your profile. Click on Edit icon in the top right area.
- On the next page, you will see your email id and phone number. You can change the mobile number and update it to save them. I wasn’t able to change the email ID. You can try yourself if it can be done or not.

I was able to link my another email using following steps:
a) Deactivate your existing account
b) Sign up using Google Account or Facebook account with which the same Email ID is linked which you want to update for book my show
c) System will sign up your account and will ask phone number
d) Verify your phone number using OTP
e) Done! Enjoy your account with new Email ID and same phone number as previous. System will NOT prompt you that your old phone is already linked to another email ID.
