Bala Palanisamy is an amazing Indian Tamil film director. He is also a film producer and screenwriter. He was born on the 11th of July 1966 in Uthamapalayam, Then, Tamil Nadu, India. He is one of the widely acclaimed Tamil directors. At the starting of his directing career, he received several accolades by the direction of some small amount of films. He is a recipient of 14 International Filmfare Awards, 6 National Awards,15 Filmfare Awards, etc.
In 1999 he began his directorial career in Tamil cinema. He made his first directorial debut with a super-duper hit, action gangster film Sethu. Later the film received 4 valuable awards including Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Director, Cinema Express Award for Best Film, Filmfare Award for Best Director, and National Film Awards for Best Feature Film in Tamil. After that big success of Sethu film he wrote and directed a Tamil language action drama film Nandha. Later he directed and write several award-winning and critically acclaimed films such as Pithamagan, Maayavi, Naan Kadavul, Avan Ivan, Paradesi, Chandi Veeran, etc.
