Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU), a private university which was established by Assam Don Bosco University Act on 9^th January, 2009 in the state of Assam. The university is affiliated to University Grants Commission (UGC) of India. It’s motto is to ‘seize the day’. ADBU provides various undergraduate courses like B.Sc., B.Tech. (Electronics and Communication, Electronics and Electrical, Computer Science and Civil Engineering), postgraduate courses which include MBA, MCA, M Tech, MSW, MA, M.Sc. and PGDCRD. It also provides other development courses and certification programmes to students. Also, there is a provision of Distance Education Programme (DEC) for outside city students. This university is well equipped with science labortaries, computer labs and net cafes.
