He was born on 25 Nov 1962 (age 59 years according to 2021) in Vill. M.P. Majra, Distt. Jhajjar (Haryana), India. His father’s name is Shri Satguru Dass Sharma and his mother’s name is Smt. Bimla Devi. His educational qualification is B.D.S., M.D.S. from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, M.D. University, Rohtak, Haryana. His religion belongs to Hinduism and Nationality, Indian. He married Dr. Rita Sharma on 09 Nov 1989 and has two children one son and daughter. He loves listening to music, spending time with family, fond of traveling to National and International tourist places.
Arvind Kumar Sharma started his political career as a candidate for Indian National Congress. He was first elected to the 11th Lok Sabha in 1996 representing the Sonepat constituency. He was re-elected to the 14th Lok Sabha (2nd term) in 2004, 15th Lok Sabha (3rd term) in 2009 from the Karnal constituency of Haryana. In 2014, he left Indian National Congress and joined Bahujan Samaj Party and later joined Bharatiya Janata Party in 2019. In May 2019, he was elected to the 17th Lok Sabha (4th term) from Rohtak Lok Sabha seat in the 2019 Indian general election. He is also part of social and cultural activities as he worked for the welfare of gaushalas, orphanages, and N.G.O.s involved in social welfare; promoted Indian culture, awareness for education, and cleanliness.
