Anuj Sachdeva was born on 5 October 1984 into a Hindu family in Delhi. By profession, he is an actor and a model. His father Prem Sachdeva who has a business of manufacturing shoes and his mother Shama Sachdeva is a housewife. He did his graduation from Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, California. He is one of them who found their way to the entertainment industry through a reality show.
Firstly, he appeared in MTV Roadies Season 3 which was a huge hit and in Delhi auditions, he also described him as a Chick Magnet. During the Roadies days, he was enjoying a huge fan following from which he began his acting career with a cameo in Delhii Heights(2007). He enrolled himself for the Grasim Mr. India(2005) and he was one of the favourite contenders at Grasim Mr. India. He received many trophies like Mr. Photogenic and Best Talent award for breaking ice slab with his elbow.
He also appeared in many commercials with many Bollywood actresses like Anushka Sharma, Deepika Padukone, Esha Gupta and etc. Anuj debut on Television in Sabki Laadli Bebo it ran for two years from which Anuj he became every girl’s dream boy. Later, he appeared in Phir Subah Hogi but after the few months, he quit the show because he disliked the script and then he moved to New York for a few months to pursue a course in Method Acting at Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, California. When he returned from New York he did many T.V. serials like Chhanchhan with Sanya Irani which was much appreciated then he was for Itti si Khushi and recently he was seen in Swaragini. It was his first time when he played a negative role in Swaragini but fans love his obsessive character. He was also in a drama movie Hawaa Hawaai(2014) his performance was appreciated by the audience. He was also seen in many music videos like Tu Chand Mera with Sonu Kakkar and Tony Kakkar, Jaane kya Hoga sung by Shreya Ghoshal, and Aaj Mile Hai by Yaseer Desai.
