Annamalai University, one of the largest Residential University of Asia was established in the year 1929. It is located in Annamalai Nagar, Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu, India. The university is spread over an area of 1500 acres of land. It’s motto is ‘With courage and faith’. This university has affiliations with University Grants Commission (UGC) of India. It offers higher education in the field of Humanities, Agriculture, Science, Arts and Engineering. It offers postgraduate courses in Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, Law, Bioinformatics, Applied Psychology, B.Ed. and other courses which include Fashion Design, Interior Design, Retail Management, Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Textile Design, Programmes on Health Science, Pharmaceutical and Taxation Programmes through Distance Education mode to the students.
