Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University (APAU), now popularly known as Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) was established on 12 June 1964, located in Rajendranagar, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. It was inaugurated by Lal Bahadur Shastri (the then Prime Minister of India). It is affiliated with University Grants Commission (UGC) of India. It’s vision is to assist in the process of transfer of technology. This university offers undergraduate course in the field of Home Science and Agriculture. Students are admitted on the basis of test Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) by Andhra Pradesh Govt.  This university has 58 research stations. It has the facility of modern auditorium and library.
