Abhijeet Bhattacharya is popularly known as Abhijeet is a Bollywood playback singer who gave lots of memorable songs to the Bollywood industry. Abhijeet nickname is Dada. He took birth on 30th October 1958 to a successful businessman turned editor, Dhirendranath Bhattacharya and Kamladevi Bhattacharya in UP. From the childhood, Abhijeet had a keen interest in singing and music and that's why after completing his degree in CA he decided to follow a career in playback singing.
After two years of struggle in Mumbai, he got a chance given by Rahul Dev Burman to sing for film Anand Aur Anand in 1984 but the film didn't work well at the box office. Again he struggled for six long years when he got a chance to sing for movie Baaghi. During the 1990s and 2000s along with Kumar Sanu & Udit Narayan, he became the top choice of every music directors.
After that, he never turned back and gave a lot of hits. It was the time in 1997 when he got the Filmfare award for best playback singer for the film Yess Boss.
