Vikas Gupta was born on 7th May 1987 in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. He completed his graduation from Rai University, Ahmedabad. Vikas made his debut as a producer with Gumrah: End of Innocence serial (2012 - 2016) and made his screenwriting debut with Mujhe Meri family Se Bachao (2011).
He has also worked for other famous shows including Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan and MTV's Webbed. Vikas Gupta has established his career in South Indian movies.
In 2010, Vikas started his career as a visual artist. He also got a trainee job in Balaji Telefilms and later became the creative head for serials like KSBKBT and Mahabharat. He founded Lost Boy Productions.
