Sunetra Choudhury is an Indian journalist and Anchor and works with an Indian news channel NDTV 24x7. She started her career with The Indian Express in 1999 and became the deputy chief reporter there. With Star News, she began her TV career in 2002, but next year in 2003, Sunetra shifted to NDTV. She did her graduation from Indian Institute of Mass Communication. She was born in Shillong, Meghalaya.
With newspaper The Indian Express she started her career in 1999 and after her hard work and dedication towards her work, she became the Deputy Chief Reporter, she was responsible for their city section Newsline. Then in 2002, she entered media industry STAR News as a Hindi reporter. Sunetra got an offer from NDTV in 2003 and started working with them, she has been part of many shows related to Natural Disasters, to Crime, investigations and politics.
Sunetra is also an author and has written Braking News with Hachette India. In 2011, She filed a report against a senior politician for an awkward harassment. She was awarded Red Ink Award for covering a story on how disabled children were being adopted by Indian families for the very first time.
