Suja Varunee is an Indian film actress and is among the Bigg Boss Contestants (Tamil Version). The actress is known for her work in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam films.
Suja took birth on 16th January 1985 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Varunee started her filming career when she was in 8th Standard. She got an offer for a female lead role in film ‘Plus Two’ which was a Malayalam film directed by Shebi Chavakkad. The film didn't work well and Suja decided to take a break from cinema. After a break of 2 years, she got an offer for a dance number in Varnajalam (2004) Tamil action drama film starring Srikanth in lead role. After the success of Varnajalam, Suja did several dance numbers in four languages (Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada) and also played supporting role in a couple of films.
Suja decided not to do any dance numbers further and want to become a full-length actress which results in banning of several offers from leading Production Company. But with her self-confidence and trust, she was offered roles in films of all four languages. Suja also did several advertisements like Sun gold covering, Nizam Pakku, Saravana Store Elite, Government TVC and Aarasan Soap.
From 2004 to 2008, Suja Varunee was seen in several Tamil films for the special appearance. After Ainthaam Padai which was released in 2009 she was seen as lead roles in the majority of her films. Mudhal Kadhal Mazhai (Tamil), Kozhi Moovuthu (Tamil), Gundello Godari (Telugu), Settai (Tamil), Crazy (Telugu), Thozha (Tamil), Amali Thumali (Tamil), Appuchi Gramam (Tamil), Vaigai Express (Tamil) and Vaa (Tamil) are some of Suja Varunee successful films.
