She is a very beautiful and popular actress in Indian Television and Film Industry. She graduated with B.A. and subsequently M.A. Degree from Mithibai College, Mumbai. Not only in Hindi but she has worked in other languages like Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. Sudha Chandran is an Indian actress who turned towards acting following the loss of one of her leg in an accident in the year 1982.she was only at the age of 17 when she met with the accident while coming back to Tiruchirappalli from Madras with her parents. She lost the leg as there was gangrene in the leg that’s what the doctors told. She overcomes her disability with prosthetic “Jaipuri Foot”. She is an established Bharatanatyam dancer and receives invitations for her performance across the world. She started her acting career with acting in a Telugu film called “Mayuri” in 1986, which was based on her real life situations and struggle. Later she won the National Film Award for that movie also. She has opened many dance classes in Mumbai and Pune with the name Sudha Chandran Academy of Dance. Many children receive the classes for learning the Indian art of dance there.
