I lodged a complaint on SBI customer care number on 22.01.2017 regarding less amount (Rs. 500 less) dispensing from an ATM in Baihar (MP). Complaint No.: AT429227845340 dated 22.01.2017. Even after more than 3 months, I am yet to get credit of the less amount dispensed. The issue has not been resolved. Always status shows “Under process”. Talked to customer care thrice. Sent email to GM customer care twice. In response to my last email to GM, DGM customer care advised me to lodged on-line complaint, without even going into details of the previous activities I have already take. How long the unfriendly and not bothering approach of SBI towards customers will continue. For deficient service of SBI from SBI ATM by delivering less amount but debiting full amount from the account, who can be held responsible. I would request Chairperson of SBI to think over it. I am addressing it to the chairperson, because my emailing the grievance upto GM Customer Care has not yielded any result.

Dear Sir Ji / Madam ji

This is further to the captioned subject and your clarification mail, your are requested to kindly read my emails dated 10.4.17 & 12.4.17 properly instead of sending some charts of time frame for collection of cheques which is — 6 to 7 days, 8 to 10 days , 10 to 14 days etc.

I would once again like to draw your attention and ask you how it is possible that HDFC Bank (cheque issuing bank) has debited my account on 05.04.2017 (statement attached) and State Bank of India has crediting the account for the same transaction on 06.04.2017 (statement attached) . Therefore, delay of 1 day due to bank’s negligence

It is very unfortunate that even this era of digital banking and MICR collection there is delay in crediting by 1 day within the same zone and city, thereby causing interest loss to me in PPF account for the entire month.

We should understand the process practically instead of going theoretically in the matter of delay in crediting by 1 day with in the metro city. Due to own rules of SBI, i am losing interest for whole / entire month. So far my knowledge goes that all the banks are working under same rules / guidelines of RBI.

You are once again requested to look into the matter at your end to rectify the same and avoid such harassment to customers in future.

    Regards

    m s chokhani
