Roshni Walia is an Indian teen actress. She was born on 20 September 2001 in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. She now lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She is very well known for her work in Bharat Ka Veer Putra- Maharana Pratap. Roshni began her acting career with television advertisements. Roshni made her debut with daily soap series titled Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki, she played the role of Jiyana. Later she played various roles in various television shows like Bharat Ka Veer Putra-Maharana Pratap as Maharani Ajadbe, then in Gumrah: end of innocence and Yeh Vaada Raha.
Roshni Walia's mother name is Sweet Walia, she has a sister Noor Walia who is older to her. Roshni’s Maternal grandfather is an army officer. Later on was roped in for drama series named Ringa Ringa Roses, she played the role of Samir Soni’s characters daughter on Life OK. She has received many awards and nominations for her work. She has received favourite child artist- female at the lions gold awards in 2015. She was also nominated for the Best Child Actor- female in 13th Indian Telly Awards 2014. In December 2014, Roshni was also featured in the third season of Keylight production’s youth crime drama series named Gumrah: End of Innocence. The show airs on Channel V India, in the show she played the role of Aarohi.
Recently she played the role of Survi in Zee television’s Yeh Vaada Raha, she played a sober, sweet and cute girl role. In 2012, this young talented girl stepped in Bollywood and made her debut with movie My Friend Ganesh 4. After this she did one more movie in 2014, Machhli Jal Ki Rani Hai, she played the role of a character named Guddi, the movie was directed by Debaloy Dey, the movie was released on 13 June 2014. The sequel to this movie is on cards.
