Prachi Tehlan is an Indian netball and a basketball player who born on 2nd October 1993 in Delhi, India. She is also an actress. She is a captain of Indian netball team. She represented India in the 2010 Commonwealth Games and other major Asian Championships in 2010- 2011. She did her schooling from Montfort School in Delhi and Graduation from Jesus and Marry College, University of Delhi.
She also received a diploma in Marketing Management from Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad. Prachi has also worked on several projects in Development Bank of Singapore, Accenture, Deloitte and 1800 Sports.in. She is contributed to a project UDAAN – Skills to Succeed for Mobilization. She began her sports career with basketball playing at the national level. In 2004, she was selected to attend the Indian Camp Thrice in Cuttack, Orissa. From 2002-03, she played 2 sub junior nationals under 14.
She represented Delhi 8 times in Under-17 category. She played in the ground of Chittoor (AP), Kotkapura (Punjab), Ajmer (Rajasthan), Hyderabad etc. In 2009, she secured first position in inter college Basketball and she took part in Inter University held in Punjab. She is winner of 54th National Games. She represented India as a captain of Indian team in 2011 South Asian Beach Games. Her team bagged a silver medal and this was the first ever medal won by Indian team at an International level. She made her acting debut with highly rated TV drama Diya Aur Baati Hum aired on Star Plus.
She loses 15 kg for appearance in the series. She made her big screen debut as Nimmy in the Punjabi Film Arjan in which she portrayed along with Roshan Prince. The film was directed by Manduip Singh in 2017. She was last seen in the television series Ikyawann opposite of Namish Taneja on Star Plus.
