Nitish Kumar is an Indian politician and the 24th Chief Minister of Bihar who joined the office on 20th November 2015. He belongs to the Janata Dal United (JD(U)) and is the leader of the party.
He was born on March 1, 1951 in Kalyanbigha in Nalanda district of Bihar in a Kurmi family to Kabiraj Ram Lakhan Singh and Parmeshwari Devi. His father was a freedom fighter and was a close friend of Anugrah Narayan Singh also known as Bihar Vibhuti who was one of the founders of modern Bihar.
Nitish completed his electrical engineering in 1971 from Bihar College of Engineering. He went on to join the Bihar State Electricity Board. But his real passion lied in politics, so he later moved into politics.
He got married to Manju Kumari Sinha who was a teacher, on February 22, 1973. The couple has a son named Nishant Kumar who is also an engineer. He lost his wife in 2007 at the age of 53.
He had served as the Chief Minister of Bihar from 2005 to 2014. He was also a Minister in the Union Government of India. Under his reign, Bihar has seen its development. This is why the cumulative growth rate of GDP of Bihar has been the highest of Bihar during his tenure as CM as compared to other states for that period.

Respected sir, I was applied for bscc scheme and sign the agreement in drcc Patna on 1 November 2019 but did not get the amount for fees and after 30 November I have to pay extra fine to the college . My bscc reg. Id is 2773700. They did not respond properly I make many phone calls to bsefc Patna they use to say tomorrow you will get the payment but we didn't get anything so sir kindly do any thing whether accept the loan or reject the loan then after I can arrange from other way. To, The Hon’ble CM, Bihar Shri Nitish Kumar At: Patna In matter of holding untimely release of rigorous life imprisonment convicts, multiple murders and habitual offenders, Uma Shankar Tiwari, Lala Tiwari, Laloo Tiwari, trio are S/o Late Ram Lagan Tiwari and Pramod Tiwari S/o: Sh. Uma Shankar Tiwari from Open Jail, Buxar, all resident of village- Mangra, Police-Station –Karakat; Distt: Rohtas, but theirs untimely release may again invite mayhem against independent witnesses of the crime. Sir, I am one of the eye witnesses of Crime Karakat-PS-Case-No. 148 of 1998 u/s 302 IPC with other relevant sections where Sh. Rajendra Tiwari @ Lalan Tiwari and Sh. Kashi Nath Tiwari have most brutally been killed by above mentioned convicts in broad day light when they were sitting in the house but theirs only fault was that they were eye witness of Karakat -FIR-No.-132/85 u/s 307, 324 34 IPC and 27 arms act where daughter of deceased Kashi Nath Tiwari, Gayatri Kumari was attempted to be killed by above mentioned brutes. The premature release of above mentioned brutes from jail may provoke further canard and havoc against independent witnesses and family of deceased as it was preplanned murder and there is not even iota of remorse but instead it is shamelessly being justified by these brutes. So, kindly do needful such that justice will be delivered and convicts should not be allowed to become set free untimely to bleed again and again otherwise it would be miscarriage of justice. Premature release of these brazen life convicts would make us to suffer an irreparable loss and further manifest injustice. Nitish Kumar In the subject matter of also considering victims and stakeholders’ perspective and not unilateral and partisan manner recommending the case of untimely release of life imprisonment prisoners ,multiple murders, repeat offenders Uma Shankar Tiwari, Lala Tiwari, Lalu Tiwari, all S/o: Late Ram Lagan Tiwari and Pramod Tiwari; S/o: Uma Shankar Tiwari, all are R/o: Village-Mangra; P.S.: Karakat, Distt: Rohtas from central 'Cum' Open Prison Buxar arising out of Karakat-P.S.-Case-No. 148 of 1998 u/s147/148/149/341/323/452/302/201/379, 34 IPC, and 27-Arms Act ; Karakat-P.S.-Case- No.- 132 of 1985 u/s 307,324, 34 IPC and 27Arms Act and also Karakat-P.S.-Case-No.- 76 of 1986 u/s 25(A), 26 Arms Act as there is serious apprehension about their future conduct upon their premature release, would be prejudicial to the interest of informant, independent witnesses of crimes and victims i.e. stake holders since they, all have been passing threatening to independent witnesses of the crimes for dire consequences. Sir Selectively local administration (police) under the influence of above mentioned powerful habitual convicts, real investigation with reference DR-2140/2019 dated 22/08/2019, by Thana Adhyaksha, Karakat-PS has been concealed and withheld while table investigation Patrank 1801, SDPO-Bikramganj dated 1/08/2019 which is fictitious has been prepared and sent out to Jail superintendent, Buxar for the untimely release of above mentioned life convicts but this investigation has also been carried out by Thana- Adhyaksha as it has been claimed and mentioned there itself. Despite numerous representations in opposition of their untimely release, it has been learnt that the Jail superintendent, Buxar with support of local administration particularly police under the influence of high profiles above mentioned predators is preparing for sending their names for untimely release to remission board, Bihar which is against principle of natural justice.
