    Respected Modiji,

I am grateful to you & hereby convey my heartfelt thanks for taking steps against misdeeds done during UPA

I wish to bring to your kind notice malpractices in private corporate hospitals who have become modern daylight heartless robbers & which need to be curbed

    1. All The ills happen mostly
in icu because in a hall very high no. of patients are crammed to maximize profits by increasing bed charges & lowering no. of nurses.

The lack of separation space results in cross infection & patients instead of being cured die of these hospital acquired infections & septicaemia

2 The ICU is kept out of bounds for patient’s relatives & this inaccessibility allows medical staff to bill for many high cost medicines without administrating them to patients
This inaccessibility also protects hospital staff because patient’s relatives cannot know about medical negligence and even death is passed on as sudden complication when the real reason that the patient dies or sinks in coma because the patient did not receive timely medical help due staff shortage or negligence

    I therefore suggest following steps

1 All ICU patients must be segregated in individual cabins with exclusive nurse and medical bed side monitors & monitoring by doctors on central console & CCTV
This CCTV coverage should be accessible to patient relatives over internet for every patient where relatives are not allowed to be at bed side for any reason

This will result in these benefits

A The relatives will know minute to minute condition of patient & know what treatment is being given or not given & when patient needs attention This will stop billing disputes & also stop anxious relatives crowding hospitals for information & getting restive due to lack of information

B As CCTV footage will be recirded and will be visible over net the patient can easily record/convey to their relations what they need & what medical staff is neglecting

C As CCTV footage will be available it will be very easy to investigate all complaints of medical negligence & no relation will be able to make false allegations because recording will show the truth

    D. The medical staff will become cautious because they would know that they don’t have cover of secrecy to cover their negligence/misdeeds

E There are only about 1000 big hospitals & out of roughly 70000 patients at given point of time about 20000 patients are serious patients

I suggest that is govt posts medical auditors in each of these big private hospitals and they must regularly scrutinize these serious cases &/or bills above 2 lacs

If this is done then no treating staff will dare to indulge in foul play and patients & medical fraternity will get fair deal

I hope you will consider my suggestions which will protect interests of patients & medical fraternity

    With regards

    B P Saraf

    SUB: Demonetization
We take this opportunity to congratulate Government of INDIA for achieving an unachievable Task at the end moment. There can be no more GOOD, one can deliver to the Country. It was an well-done as well as perfectly executed exercise.
Let us not allow FUND ( no matter how small it is) lying idle in one’s pocket but put to work; wherever possible. Let us attempt to respect Money and not arrest it for whatsoever reason. GLOBE is not short of wealth but its disarrangement by us is causing a worst effect on us.

    Yours Faithfully,

    (Dr.M.M.HAZARIKA,PhD)
