Nachhatar Gill was born as Nachhatar Singh Gill on November 15, 1968. Nachhatar Gill is a renowned Punjabi musician, singer and song writer. He took birth in a Sikh family in the village Akaalgarh near Badesron, The-Garhshankar. Gill’s father was a ‘kirtani’, therefore since childhood, he was interested in music. Gill used to sing with his father at the annual programs in their village. He continued singing, and decided to take singing as a profession. His solo song ‘Dil Ditta Si’, brought him attention and success. He was popular after his solo song. Gill’s famous genres are Bhangra and Pop. In 2006, he released his religious album ‘Sahib Jina Diya Mane’ and later in 2010, another religious album ‘Ardaas Karen’ was released. Gill has also produced few films. Gill is also a producer and a music director as well.
