Kynan Chenai is an Indian professional shooter in the Trap discipline, he is also the member of Indian squad in 2016 Rio Olympics. He is qualified for 2016 Summer Olympics after winning the Asia Olympic Shooting qualifiers held in Delhi on 28 January 2016. He played so well for India in this event and got the ticket for the 2016 Olympics. He was born on 29 January 1991 in Hyderabad, India. Kynan studied in Herbron School in Ooty, Tamil Nadu. In his school career, he is freestyle swimming champion for 3 years. His father gave him coaching of the shotgun and after that, he was coached by four times Olympian Mansher Singh. He won the gold medal in Junior Men’s Trap shooting event at 50th& 51stNational Shooting Championship, India. In 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games he won a gold medal in trap event.
