Kishwer Merchant is an Indian television actress and model who is well known for her acting in television shows Har Mushkil Ka Hal Akbar Birbal, Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyar, Pyar Ki Yeh Ek Kahani and Ek Hasina Thi. Merchant was born on 3 February 1981 in Mumbai to her parents Siraj Merchant and Rijwana Merchant. She worked in television industry since 1997. On 16 December 2016, Merchant got married to her boyfriend Suyyash Rai.
In the year 1997,
she began her acting career as Juliain the television show Shaktiman. Later
from 1998 to 2000, she worked as Nonie in the popular show Hip Hip Hurray. Then
she worked in several serials like Desh Mein Nikla Hoga Chand, Kayaamat, Babul
Ki Duwayen Leti Jaa, Kutumb, Hatim, Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Khichdi. She also
appeared in many Balaji shows such as Kasamh Se and Kavyanjali. From 2007, she
worked in popular serials like Miley Jab Hum Tum, Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani and
Chotti Bahu.
In the 2012, she
was seen in several shows including Hongey Judaa Na Hum, Ek Hasina Thi,
Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan, Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyar etc.
In 2015, Merchant was participating in the television reality show Bigg Boss 9
with her boyfriend Suyyash Rai. And in 2016, she made her comeback with
Balaji’s popular show Brahmarakshas. In 2017, she again appeared in popular
shows like Dhhai Kilo Prem, Savitri Devi College & Hospital, Gangaa etc.
