Jhanak Shukla born on 24 January 1996, is a former Indian Child Actress. Her parents are Hari Shukla and Supriya Shukla, her father is a documentary filmmaker and her mother is an Actress.
She is very popular for her role as Gia Kapur in movie Kal Ho Naa Ho, where she played the role of an adopted daughter of Jaya Bachchan, alongside Shahrukh Khan and Preity Zinta. She also worked in movie Deadline: Sirf 24 Ghante, alongside Rajit Kapoor, Konkona Sen Sharma and Irfan Khan, as the kidnapped daughter Anishka Goenka. She was also the face of many big brands such as ICICI Bank and also a music video for Parikrama.
She also portrayed the role of a robot girl in the remake of Small Wonder “Karishma Ka Karishma”, and for some time was seen in Star Plus’s Son Pari, also played the character of Little Jasmine in Hatim. Also did an episodic role for V Channel’s Gumrah. Jhanak was also seen doing a pivotal role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movie Black, but she opted out as she thought it would take too much time.
