Steps to block Kotak Mahindra Debit Card

#Way 1: From Website

Open the official net banking website of Kotak Mahindra bank i.e www.kotak.com/j1001mp/netapp/MainPage.jsp. Here, login to your account using your CRN/account number/Nickname and password. Then enter the dynamic access code received on your mobile phone and click on the secure login button. Click on Debit Card option from the top header and then click on Deactivate/Activate debit cards option. Now, select the debit card which you would like to block from the menu. Choose the type of deactivation you require i.e temporary or permanent and then click on submit button. You are presented with disadvantages/terms/services which will not be available to you after the blockade of the debit card. Once you have read them, choose the YES option and click on the submit button. You will get a confirmatory message on your registered email address and mobile number regarding the same.

#Way 2: From Mobile App

• Open the official mobile app of Kotak Mahindra Bank.
• Scroll down to the cards section and click on debit card option.

Select the deactivate card option. Choose the card you would like to disable and turn off the card status option. Click on submit button.
