Babar Khan professional name Billy X was born in Lahore, Pakistan. Prior to his rapping interests, Babar never heard about rap or the hip-hop genre before his 10th class until he came across Eminem's famous track "The Real Slim Shady". After listening to his first hip-hop songs, he felt a connection with this music style and set his interests into hip-hop and soon his rapping days started.
Until 12th grade, Babar was not very much involved in rapping until he met a band member named Omer from the band "Rooh" who motivated him and supported his rapping interests which until now was just a hobby. Babar confesses that his inspiration comes from Eminem and he did struggle with writing original lyrics which will be liked by audiences.
Babar did a few gigs during his time in FC College but it all picked up at the end of his first semester in LSE when he did a gig through a contact in KAPS and then gigs started pouring in and eventually Babar appeared on a show on ATV.
All this coverage helped him gain popularity and a decent audience but later on his music started to cool down since he was very short on original material and Babar wanted to spend more time and effort on songs that he could claim as his own original work. Now, although his lyrics are legit and original, the music and beats are highly controversial.
